Getting traffic to your website is probably one of your top online goals. Once you finish writing your eBook or building your website, it is time to make money online and in order to do that, you need traffic – lots and lots of traffic.
There are a number of low-cost and expensive ways to get traffic to your website. I wanted to cover three mostly overlooked ways to get massive traffic to your site – make that free ways!
Once you find out what they are you might be quick to dismiss them and say “I know about these 3 methods” but the question you need to ask yourself – Are You Using Them? If the answer is no, I am urging you to put them into place immediately. It could mean the difference between your online business floundering or succeeding beyond your wildest dreams.
Without delay, here are the 3 overlooked proven and powerful methods for getting massive traffic to your website. Best of all, they are all free to implement.
1. Your Blog
Your blog should function as the main hub of all your online activities. If you have set up your blog correctly, all you have to do is log on and post some great content every day or every other day. If you love your ebook topic, then it should not be too difficult to write a few words on the topic every other day.
The more content you provide on your site and the more posts you accumulate over the next several months, the better chance you have of ranking well on search engines for your ebook topic.
2. Articles
What can I say; articles are where the free money is these days. Articles are a great way of showing to your prospect that you know what you are talking about. I like to call it giving your reader a taste of what you have to offer on your website or in your eBook.
When you write an article that offers a quick solution to someone’s problem, you position yourself as an expert on that topic. If the reader wants to learn more about the topic, then they will click on the link in your resource box to learn more.
Once your reader gets to your site, you provide even more free information for them to read on the topic. This is called building goodwill and in the process, your reader will determine whether or not to do business with you.
3. Press Releases
This last method is so underutilized that it makes it so easy to get ahead of the competition and get traffic from reputable sites. Press releases work because journalists and thousands of other websites sign up to receive the press releases.
Why? Because they are looking through the releases in order to find something to write about. If you write a press release well enough, you just might get yourself written up on a major website or even in a print newspaper or magazine.
Even if your press release is not picked up, it is a great way to get indexed by the search engines. Google and Yahoo both like to index the major free press release services, so you can be assured of getting at least one or two high value links to your website.
As you can see, these three methods are free and as I mentioned earlier, you probably heard about them before. The question is, why are you not using them?
Get started today with writing a blog post, writing an article or even a press release. All are easy enough and can be done in under 30 minutes. Ready? Go…
